Moving...again

Ok, so I'm going to give myself the goal of writting every day until this up coming Sunday. I've been neglecting every single diary I have and it's not a good thing.
Big news, although not a good one. We have to move again ! Our six months is just over and the landlady has decided that instead of renting her house, she wants to sell it instead. Which means that we have to find a new place for next month. Ugh ! So unhappy about that.
We had just all finished settling in, but at the same time I realize that until I am done with my studies and can buy my first house, this is what is going to happen each time.
For the new place though, we will make sure to get a year lease instead of just 6 months. There are a few places in Carpinteria, which is about 30 minutes away from work and school, that we are interested in. But other than that, there is very few places that are in our price range, which is a bit worrisome.
But things should fall into place when they need to.
Other than that work is great. Devereux is so much fun. Working with my teenage girls is so much fun for me. I'm really starting to get good relationships going with them, they're starting to confide in me and seek me out for help which is a wonderful feeling. A lot of them are moving on this summer and I'm really going to miss them.
I can't believe it but Devereux policy is that when one of our kids move to another place, employees are not allowed to give them their phone number or address, to keep in touch. I find that quite ridiculous ! I mean some of the staff here have been working with these kids for over 2 years. How can you expect them not to want to keep in touch with them and see how they are doing once they leave. And how about the kids ? Yes, we are staff and not supposed to be their friends, but bonds form, they start trusting a certain person, and just leaving and not being able to talk to that person anymore seems like an unecessary heartache.
Anyway, I guess that it's just to protect the employees and the kids.
