Old Friends
Wow ! I have been getting calls the past few days from friends that I hadn't seen in over a year.
First PB* called me yesterday saying that he was making a road trip from up north down to San Diego. So he stopped and crashed at my place last night... which means I'm exhausted at work today because we did not go to bed until close to 3am.
It was nice to see him again. I dated him when I first moved to Santa Barbara and although we got along great our goals and ideal in life were just way too different to be able to have a successful relationship. But we've been keeping tabs on each other and we're still really good friends. I think we both learned a lot from each other. However each of us is too stubborn to change our ways. It was really nice to see him again although I'm a bit worried about him. He seems to be running too much and I have a feeling he will crash at some point and the results won't be pretty.
And then, this morning I got a phone call from an old friend E* who just got in town but is leaving tonight. So I'll be able to spend a little bit of time with him before he leaves, but not nearly enough to catch up.
It's been really nice to see them again though. And now I an probably stay in touch again which will be nice.
And then I'm planning on going to LA again this friday or saturday. I can't wait! I love putting on my goth clothes and going dancing all night long.
